Point Vault to the parent folder containing your department directories.
Turn existing department, equipment and manufacturing-code folders into a searchable design library where engineers can compare equipment, review specifications, inspect models and build selection lists.
Use the folder structure you already understand, then search and review everything from one application.
Point Vault to the parent folder containing your department directories.
Filter by Department, Equipment and Manufacturing Code, or type a code directly.
Read specifications, zoom images, inspect 3D models and open related project files.
Add codes, edit quantities and export the result for checking or handover.
Features below are taken directly from the CADBoost Vault v1.3 application and user guide.
Autocomplete shows codes with their Department and Equipment context. Enter an exact code to load it immediately.
Department → Equipment → CodeReview the full equipment dataset, search it, filter by department and activate a code by double-clicking.
Export XLSX, CSV or TXTDisplay UTF-8 content from each code's data.txt file and edit, save or cancel changes inside the application.
Direct data.txt workflowBrowse thumbnails, zoom, pan, open externally, save a copy or copy the image path.
PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, WEBPRotate, pan and zoom solid models; switch standard views, shaded/wireframe display and background color.
STEP, IGES, BREP and STLAdd manufacturing codes to a list, edit quantities, restore a code from a row and create reports.
XLSX, CSV and TXT outputThe OpenCASCADE-based viewer in v1.3 provides tools for useful technical inspection, not just a static thumbnail.
Vault detects files associated with the current manufacturing code and enables the relevant access controls automatically.
Vault scans defined subfolders and connects each file to its department, equipment and manufacturing code.

CADBoost Vault v1.3 includes localized application labels and embedded user guides for international engineering teams.
Vault requires the Department / Equipment / Manufacturing Code hierarchy shown above. Choosing the wrong root folder will open the application without showing data.
XLSX export uses Microsoft Excel automation; install Microsoft Excel if you need this format. CSV and TXT export remain available separately.
